Tips for hair maintenance

Less or no heat when blow drying, use a cooler setting and do not blow dry until is completely dry.
2) Use acidifiers. Acidifiers close the cuticle down and lock in moisture. Acidifiers have a pH of 2.5 to 3.5. They have a lower pH than hair does in an aqueous solution.
3) Color, perms, relaxers, and other chemicals are sometimes a necessary evil. They rob the hair of humectants. Humectants attract and retain moisture (water) in the cortical layer of the hair. Try to use low ammonia -low peroxide color. Do not leave neutralizer on too long with perms. If possible avoid relaxers.
4) Treat your hair. Replace lost humectants with essential fatty acids (lipids), acidify your hair, use low pH products, and use cool water. Replace what was taken out to make your hair dry. Also eat a diet full of essential fatty a

cids (in moderation and non-animal [no cholesterol]).

Oily Skin Treatment for mens

Wash your face three times a day using soap and hot water. Hot water is much more effective at dissolving and washing away skin oil than cold water. You can use regular bar soap or try a medicated soap, such as Neutrogena Oily Skin Formula or Clearasil soap for oily skin.
Exercise regularly to boost circulation, improve blood flow and unclog pores Contrary to what many people believe, sweating is actually healthy for the skin and can help stop oily skin and reduce the frequency of acne outbreaks.

Apply a mud or clay mask to your face several times each week. Darker masks are typically the most absorbent, but rose-colored clay may be less irritating to sensitive skin.
Use an astringent that contains acetone to help stop oily skin. In most cases, rubbing alcohol and witch hazel work just as well as expensive astringents. You can also purchase astringent pads at most pharmacies and grocery stores to carry with you when you are away from home.
Purchase only water-based cosmetics, as oil-based products can increase oil on the face. Set foundations with a light dusting of baby powder, which is more absorbent than many cosmetic powders. Powder will not stop oil production, but it can minimize the appearance of oily skin.
Stop or change the type of oral contraceptive pill you use to help stop oily skin. Hormones play a major role in oily skin, which is why oil and acne increase during puberty and pregnancy. If you are not currently using birth control pills, you can ask your doctor about the benefits and risks of using oral contraceptives to treat oily skin.
Avoid over stimulating your skin. Exfoliating too often is a common trigger of excessive oil production. Frequent or severe sunburns or constantly rubbing or picking at your skin can also cause over-stimulation. If you exfoliate, do so only once or twice each week to prevent an increase in oil production.
Try an over-the-counter or prescription medication that contains retinol to control oily skin. Use these products spa

ringly to avoid skin irritation, redness and flaking.

Tattoos Tips

It can be very difficult to select from the many tattoo designs on the spot. Even if you have already selected a design, the artist may be able to present you with several different options to make your tattoo designs even more personable.
Before arriving for the application of a tattoo, it is best to have a selection of tattoo designs in mind before you enter the parlor. Although there are some exceptions, most men and women will naturally be drawn to different tattoo designs. Men, for instance, would likely prefer something masculine, while women often prefer something dainty and sexy. Of all tattoo designs, women commonly select hearts, butterflies, flowers, lettering, etc. The most popular placement, for women, is the shoulder, lower back and ankle. Men, on the other hand, often prefer that their tattoo designs be placed on the upper arm, chest or back.
While there are tattoo designs that are gender specific, it is important to keep in mind that getting a tattoo is a very personal thing and the image that is ultimately chosen should be one that reflects something that is important to the wearer. Upon discussing the various tattoo designs with the artist, the customer will gain a better understanding of the different options and designs available.
Many individuals select tattoo designs from those presented at the parlor, while others prefer to do some research and help ensure that their design is unlike any other. For certain tattoo designs, some people prefer to look at real life photos or browse through artwork for ideas pertaining to their tattoo designs. If you find an image that you like, simply take it to the artist for an evaluation as to whether or not the image can be recreated in the form of a tattoo.
